Fishing off the dock

We traveled up to Minnesota where Blake's parents live. They live on a lake and have their own dock. Brandon and Tucker (our nephews) spent the better part of 3 hours fishing from the dock today. They caught a Northern Pike, Wide-mouth Bass and a bunch of Sun fish. Here are some pictures of the boys happy as little clams...

Happy Anniversary, Happy Anniversary...

This weekend marks the 1 year anniversary to us. It has been a fabulous year. I hear how hard the 1st year usually is, but not for us. Blake jokes that it must mean all our other years are going to be rough. I hope not!

For our anniversary, Blake surprised me and took me back to Powell Gardens where we got married. It was a beautiful day and I was feeling wonderful.

Fifteen Weeks

Today was my first Mother's Day. I had great seafood at Red Lobster...yum!

Very productive weekend

I spent my 'first' Mother's Day weekend out at garage sales and we found some great stuff! I'm most excited about our stroller find. We found a Peg Perego Pliko stroller. These strollers retail for big $$$ so finding one for $25 is a deal worthy of a "squee!" It's awesome. Even Blake showed a little excitement when he found out it's Italian.
When we got it home, he promply gave our cat Toby a ride around the basement. We also found a bouncer, a pack n' play and some swaddler sleep sacks. I love swaddling, it's amazing; watching a screaming infant instantly calm down and go to sleep just because they're swaddled.

Little's first Ultrasound!

One good thing came from our scare last Friday, we got to see Little up close and personal. This image is not very good, we actually got to see detail on the face and spine, but, hey this is the one they gave us, so I'm taking it. We won't find out gender until June.
